Tam O' Shanter Staff. Who has his head in the can?
Who are these three? These young ladies were in school with us, but not in our class. The gentleman was a teacher. There is a small hint on the right side of his photograph. If you think you know the answers, email them to Roger Sherman.
The Hi-Wire Club was for anyone interesting in radio broadcasting. It had a 30 minute show on WLAK each Friday night where members took turns as a DJ and news reporter...giving school news. It was good "hands on" training. It is nteresting to note that both Tommy Kennington and Jack Eilertsen actually did have careers in broadcasting.
Are you interested in who belonged to what club or in what activity were they involved? Who was the Dreadnaught Sweetheart? Who was the Cager Sweetheart? Who was the FAA Sweetheart? Who was the Cruiser of the year? Who entertained at the Awards Assembly and Talent Show? The answers to these and many more questions can be answered by perusing program for this event (link is image to the left).
